Alta Langa DOCG
Grape Variety. Pinot Nero, Chardonnay
Alc. Vol. 12%
Origin.
Piedmont, Monferrato. The soils from which the grapes of this cuvée come are an amalgam of gray-whitish marl with a strong limestone component.
Winemaking and tasting notes.
Sparkling wine produced with the Traditional Method, at least 30/36 months on the lees and at least 6 months of aging in the bottle.
Straw yellow color with golden highlights, very fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals the classic aromas of bread crust as well as a mineral note that hints at flint; ripe yellow fruit emerges and at the same time shades of currant. This wine is crisp, savory, full bodied and fresh.
Serve it with main courses, preferably raw meats, tempura, seafood, and vegetables with intense flavor. Serve at 8-10°C.
